Founded in 2015, Austep is a B Corp and Social Traders Certified Social Enterprise, specialising in high-performance lighting for commercial buildings. Our mission is to prove social procurement and engineering excellence are not mutually exclusive. We help developers, builders, asset managers and owners hit social spend targets and increase impact while improving buildings and reducing lifecycle costs.
Engineering First: Our team includes a Senior MIES Lighting Designer and we help ensure compliance from AS 1680 to AS 1158 and AS 4282.
Built-In Impact: We operate on a verified 50% profit-donation model, meaning every dollar spent with us directly funds high-impact charities.
Spec-Grade Quality: We prioritise products with long life capacitors, industry-leading efficacy (up to 190 lumens per watt), low-glare optics, and high CRI.
